We have lots of upcoming events & fundraisers, but we wanted to tell you a little about our latest progress and where we are with the Bayou Country Children’s Museum.

To those of you who voted for the Bayou Country Children’s Museum for the Pepsi Refresh Everything grant during the month of April, we’d like to say thank you.  The BCCM came out 39th in the nation out of 297 – that’s the top 13%!

Although the Children’s Museum was rolled over to May for another round of voting for the Pepsi grant, we will not ask for your daily votes.  Instead, we would like for you to help us break ground.

Please consider a tax deductable donation to the BCCM.  We cannot break ground without adequate funding.

1.       Send Memorial Donations for gifts (birthday, Mother’s Day, birth of a baby or even in lieu of flowers for the passing of a loved one).

2.       Make a financial contribution for the building of the museum, either a one-time contribution or a pledge over 5 years.

You can also help by spreading the word.  Tell your friends – Do they know we’re going to have a full size sugarcane combine harvester, mardi gras float, duck blind, shrimp boat, water estuary table and more inside the museum so that children can learn more about our culture in a safe, fun, hands-on environment?

We are more committed than ever to bring the Bayou Country Children’s Museum to life.  Kids are depending on us!

Together we can make it happen!
